A diagnosis of autism, developmental disorder, or other disability is emotionally and logistically overwhelming for any parent. As a licensed clinical social worker and mother of a child with autism, I can provide you (individual parents, family members, or couples) with therapeutic services to help you process the mental and emotional aspects of dealing with your child’s diagnosis and cope with the challenges of caring for a child with special needs. Whether it’s one or two sessions or regularly recurring sessions, I will support you where you’re at in the way that works best for you.

Likewise, after an initial consultation, we will determine together what kind of support you need to understand and carry out the process of registering your child for services. I will help connect you to the right agencies, complete paperwork, schedule evaluations, make referrals to specialists, make crucial connections at your child’s school, and much more.
